California State Route 1

Over load… We detoured MAJORLY to the coast Sunday and  fell in absolute love with Carmel by the Sea. Monterey is such a lovely place it is now on my list of places to explore slowly as well as Big Sur. The drive was so beautiful, Absolutely no cell service pure perfection. Words are not needed to explain the beauty that was witnessed.

Yosemite Tres

I’m going to say we got really lucky with the weather the day we went to Yosemite, the morning and afternoon it was sunny and nice.. By the time we got to Tuolumme Grove of Giant Sequoias we started hearing the thunder from afar and by the time we arrived to Glacier Point we saw the lighting, and it was such an amazing experience couldn’t get a picture but you can only imagine. The hike to the Sequoias was magical as fuck, so peaceful and quiet it was one of those moments that you’ll never forget; huge pine cones everywhere birds chirping.

Glacier Point, the view from Glacier Point is breathtaking, winding road to the max on the way back I did have slight car sickness so I napped until it was over. This was our last spot of the day and it was the perfect way to end it.

Grand Canyon

After Sedona we headed up to the Grand Canyon, lots of driving was involve that weekend went from not appreciating it to loving it. Anyways, Grand Canyon didn’t know what to expect the whole drive there I was so curious as to how it looked, where we would start on and on.. Nadia and I came to the conclusion that it was built by aliens. Even when we got there it felt so untouchable and surreal.

one thing I’ve been making sure to do in every place is to just sit there and take it all in if you see my Instagram and you see that picture I am doing just that taking it in an savoring the moment.

Antelope Canyon.

ANTELOPE MOTHAFUCKING CANYON!!! I can’t begin to explain this place and all the emotions I felt being there. It was a beautiful day, the whole weekend we saw everything from snow to hot and windy weather so we weren’t sure what we’d get. To get to antelope you have to go with a tour company, which we did and it reminded me of Guatemala sitting in the back of a 4×4. Our guide was beyond amazing very knowledgeable and helped me out a lot when it came to taking the best shots. Overall such an amazing experience loved that I got to see it in so many lights, as the day goes by the light changes the colors and it’s so magical.

After antelope we headed to horseshoe bend, quite the little hike that one. Horseshoe bend was amazing and terrifying hello fear of heights I didn’t even know I had.

Wasn’t going to post this till after Grand Canyon but meh…please enjoy 1/4 of the pictures that I took.

Sedona Love.

A couple of weeks ago I took a trip to Arizona with my parents, sister in law and my dearest friend Nadia. My soul purpose of that trip was to go to Antelope Canyon, but researched places to go and found Sedona. Let me tell you how amazing and beautiful it was, will definitely be going back to hike and enjoy it calmly.  The drive was so enchanting I knew that moment that the time spent there wouldn’t be enough and it sure wasn’t. Truly enjoyed every second spent there, and below are the images I took. I am extremely fascinated by clouds..
