More of trips I haven’t blogged about. We went back to O’ahu in October last year and we had a ball!! GAhh I still remember being in the water and thinking to myself this is my life I get to enjoy and live this. I had a pretty rough year last year it’s complicated to explain and for some people to understand because I’ve been blessed to see so many amazing places but shit sometimes we just need to figure ourselves out to truly be in these moments.
I follow a blogger/photographer that deals with her anxiety and depression in what I could only describe as graceful. I have had the honor to exchange messages with her regarding that and we could both agree that getting out there even if it’s just to watch the sunset and just really be present and grateful to be apart of something magical is all you need sometimes. I am the luckiest human being I have people around me that try to understand what I am going through and help me during these anxious times..
I took pictures of a lot of sunsets during my trip and HERE THEY ARE:
I’ve been absolutely horrible when it comes to updating my blog.. BUT ladies and gents Maui West aka the time my sister and I almost died #dramatic
Just like any trip I researched things to do must sees etc. I found a blowhole that was near our resort and decided to give a go. We started driving west and driving and didn’t see signs or actually knew where we were going for that matter. We stopped at a couple view points and kept driving.. At some point we decided we were just taking the scenic route and not bothering looking for the blowhole or beaches.
So about that “research” clearly it wasn’t that well since we ended up in a one way cliff to sum it up..We didn’t die
obvs but did experience a traffic jam when a car was coming from the other direction and had to be guided by a local. There were 3 cars in front of us, which worked in our favor my sisters nervous wouldn’t have been able to handle all of that. Just imagine a little car on the side of a cliff… that’s exactly what happened to the car coming in the opposite direction. Maui West was stunning from every angle also extremely dangerous.
There is always light at the end of the tunnel. Perspective.
I WENT TO MAUI! My sister the reason why I travel! decided she wanted to go to Maui so we went! One of the best birthdays ever! I’ll leave my awesome story telling skills for Snorkeling && West Maui.
SNORKELING!!! So as some people know I can’t swim at all (actually I can but NOT) I’ve never been snorkeling, I sorta tried it when we went to Oahu last year but it didn’t exactly work out blah blah blah. We took a tour it was pretty amazing Molokini Crater is pretty fucking awesome (I was given a noodle HEYYY didn’t drown) such an amazing experience..wait for the GOOD PART it is coming! Someone went off to the danger zone where apparently sharks hang out no big deal at all… and we had to go rescue them because the current was starting to get stronger and that person got stranded nothing like a little drama to spice things up. So below are the pictures of that and by that I mean snorkeling not the rescue…:

Where to next?

Dole Plantation, by far the coolest place EVER! Had no idea pineapples grew from the ground, to think of it never actually put much thought to it. I was pretty amazed while we rode the Pineapple Express, pineapples take their sweet time to grow.. flowering in 20–24 months and fruiting in the following six months.
They had this Koi pond right by the exit of Pineapple Express, so glad I had quarters to feed them. I am easily entertained I could not stop feeding them…that was until I ran out of quarters.
After our excursion at the Dole Plantations we took a dip at a beach near our hotel. Pictures look gorgeous right? Until it started pouring and we had to head back to our hotel. Thankfully by the time we got there it was sunny all over again and my sister and I went snorkeling at Turtle Bay Beach . Gotta love that unpredictable island weather.
Can’t wait to post the last of my adventures in Oahu. I hope you all enjoy my images.

Oahu, Oahu, Oahu…the beauty of this island is incredible. I have a lot more images, but thought I should start where my sister and I were staying. Really enjoyed my stay at the Turtle Bay Resort, waking up to ocean views is all I need. One afternoon I had to just go near the water and take it all in, flooded with euphoria I just sat there for a good hour. Needless to say coming home was by far the biggest burden.
